What is Healing Touch

Healing Touch is a holistic integrative therapy in which a trained practitioner uses gentle, light, or no touch. It is with heart-centered focused intention that the practitioner facilitates physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self-healing by clearing and balancing the human energy system. It is with a clear and balanced energy system, in which an individual feels well in the body, mind, and spirit.

Session Information
A Healing Touch session can vary in length anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes depending on the goal of the session and the time allotted.
A session begins with a review of the client's current health status and there is a discussion about what the goals, or intention, of the session are. While laying or sitting comfortably, we begin with slow guided focused breathing, and with permission, I gently place my hands on or above the client’s fully clothed body to assess the energy field. After the energy assessment is complete, I choose a Healing Touch technique that is appropriate for your needs and what would best suit the intention for the session. This may include light physical touch or sweeping hand motions above the body. During the session, the client can expect an to experience deep relaxation. It is in this state, where your parasympathetic nervous system kicks on, and your body is allowed the space to heal. After the session, a feedback discussion will follow.
Everyone's healing journey is different and like any healing energy work, people have many different responses to Health Touch. Some clients feel deeply relaxed while others describe a sensation of moving energy, feelings of being supported or nurtured, or having visions of images or colors. Some people experience an emotional release or what they consider to be a spiritual experience and may even develop insight into a specific area of life.
